To all our CanCham community:

The influx of foreigners and foreign talent to Mexico is at an all-time high. Leading multicultural teams is not an innate skill. Leveraging the strongest solutions and innovative ideas that lead to the best course of action for diverse teams requires understanding that we do not all see the world, our company or our teams through the same lens.

This is an increasingly complex issue as more and more foreign companies look to start operations in Mexico. In this presentation, Jennifer will discuss:
- What happens when communication fails?
- The composition of the foreign population in Mexico by percentage of nationalities.
- Cross-cultural communication techniques that support effective communication and team building specific to Mexico
- How to address difficult issues (gender norms, socio-economic perspectives and discrimination)
- How to retain local talent while attracting innovation through foreign talent.
-
This presentation stems from Jennifer's work with clients in the U.S., Mexico and Guatemala, as well as the current debate in Mexico City fueled by the increase in the number of foreigners moving to CDMX. WorldWise Consulting takes the pulse of Mexico's business community.
